Before you sign up
- Compliance — what you'll need — identity, business basics, bank account, and the tier-unlock documents.
- How the tiers work — New, Verified, Trade. What each one means and how movement happens.
While you list
- Photographing for haat. Natural daylight, plain background, a hero shot first then three to five context shots. Don't over-edit. Show the texture.
- The AI Listing Creator. Upload your photos, type one or two sentences in the language you think in, pick a category. The drafter writes the title, the description, the suggested HS code, and a price band. You review every field before publish — the AI never publishes for you.
- Pricing the piece. List the maker's price in INR. Buyers see the all-inclusive landed cost in their currency; the platform absorbs the FX variance and the customs paperwork.
After an order lands
- Pack within 48 hours. The dashboard shows a pack-by countdown on every order. Mark packed; the platform books the carrier and generates the label + customs paperwork.
- Get paid in INR. Funds sit in escrow until the buyer confirms delivery. Payouts follow tier cadence — ten days, seven, or three.
- Disputes. The buyer raises an issue from their order page. You'll see the request in your dashboard with a clear timeline and a 48-hour window to respond. Resolution is on us, not on you alone.
What can't be sold
A short list with hard lines:
- Antiques older than 100 years, ivory, or wildlife products.
- Weapons or weapon parts of any kind, narcotics.
- Counterfeits or unauthorised reproductions of branded goods.
- Anything that misrepresents a GI Tag without official Indian registry confirmation.
